Smt. Turlapati Rajeshwari , a renowned Telugu writer and translator, has been honoured with the Sahitya Akademi Award in Kolkata on 24th October 2025 for her translation of an Oriya book into Telugu.

She completed her M.A. in Telugu (1974 batch) from SSSIHL, Anantapur Campus . A retired professor, she has authored over 50 books and continues to inspire through her literary excellence.
