For the first time in the state of Andhra Pradesh, a Palliative care centre has been established to provide patient-centred care rather than an ailment-centred treatment to patients, including terminally ill patients. In line with Swami’s philosophy, the centre provides services with no cost to the patients. Read more…

The first COACH program was held in an orphanage called “Karuna Mother’s Home”. Located in RT Nagar, Bangalore, this orphanage is home to around eighty children. The idea of the Compassites team was to spend meaningful time with the kids, and provide them with a sense that they are precious – valued enough for many adults to create a wonderful weekend morning for them. PremaBandham, a guided tour of the different Seva initiatives in which TN alumni are involved at the state and national levels. Each Seva activity was represented by a standee detailing its features. There were 12 standees in total with the respective Seva coordinator explaining details to the enthusiastic audience. Read more…

The COVID helpline has been a major alumni initiative where technical support and training is provided by alumni at SKCT while the SSSO and alumni across the country work on ground to fulfil requests of covid affected patients. Read more…
